Post retreat update

Well, I have just spent the last 3 days at a Scrap Girls retreat - and I must say, 

had an absolute ball!!!

 I really wish I could go on more than 1 a year as me and the girls had so 

much fun, and so so many laughs.

Just take a look at our scrapping table!!

WOW, us scrappers have so much stuff!!

Design Team position! BW2

I am thrilled to have been given a position on the design team for Black with 2 (BW2).

I am looking forward to the first challenge in June and sharing some exciting work with everyone.

A big congrats to all the ladies that made the team, and we all hope to see a great collection of entries to the challenges each month.

amazing face paint

2 Christmases ago, a friend was visiting her grandma and I asked her to paint my face (as she is so talented and does an amazing job). So this is what my face turned out like ( a little bit avatar-ish)

I was so excited about it - what a great job.
Then the next day she painted the kids faces and they were unreal, and this is a layout I have made about Tahlias one.

I know I have thanked her before, but I will again now that I'm blogging about it. Thankyou so much Nikki Jean Eyles, you are such a talented artist and you are welcome to paint our faces anytime.

Today I have 2 random pages to share. This first one of my daughter and some friends playing twister at a picnic a few years back. I love the bright colours of these papers teamed with the Kraft cardstock. Added some inking over the mask also.

This one I got as an idea from the internet some time ago, so thought I would scrap some garden photos (I love gardening). I love the final result - something quite different.

Ah Scrap page

Wow, nearly 2 months since my last post.....been a busy 2 months with xmas and school holidays. But i did manage to scrap quite a bit in my 5 week break from work!! YAY! There was also a camping trip in there and a quick get-away for hubby and I to Melbourne.

So here is a page I have created for AH Scrap for their February release (Feb 15th). I have used the new page runner, which I think is a great addition to any page. There will also be a girl one available too.
