One gorgeous day

I havent done a lot of scrapping lately, been a bit busy focusing on this weekend coming - my launch party for Stampin' Up!. But last night I was feeling a bit down (mainly feeling the loss of the pet bird Benny, who flew away on Thursday)so I pulled out the scrapping supplies and wasnt quite sure of how it would turn out given my mood. But i am quite happy with the final outcome. I scrapped some photos I had of the family playing in a wonderful park we found while camping last year.

items used: pp - kaisercraft, graphic 45, ruby rockit, kaisercraft letter stickers, Stampin' Up! punch, ink and smooch spritz, wow chipboard word, gloss paint and glitter.
I apologise for the photo, I just couldn't photograph the 'gorgeous' properly with the gloss on it.

Girls weekend of scrapping

The weekend of October 15-17, 4 friends and I went away for a girls weekend to the Central Coast, The Entrance. We rented this great little apartment with ocean views and within walking distance to everything we needed. We even found a great little scrapbook shop which we went a little crazy in. We all took our scrapping stuff (Apart from one friend who isnt into scrapping YET, so she knitted away while we scrapped). I completed 7 pages (was aiming for 6) and I am sharing a few of them now, this first one was inspired yet again by Ebony Van Der Starre. I love her work and I am super happy with how this page came out.

Another new flower creation, this one made of felt from cuttlebug templates which i ran through the Sizzix Big shot. Love this new line of kaisercraft papers too!

This page has some of my own creations - My organza flowers! 2 different varieties, and I'm happy with the way they look.

This one created from Kaisercraft papers (From the kit I put together for the girls)PLUS, my very own flowers. I really love these flowers, I think they really make a statement. Tell me what you think???

I put together a kit for each of us, mainly consisting of Kaisercraft papers, letters, and I think the girls loved them because they all used them on more than one layout. I love how this one turned out

Would like to let everyone know that I am now officially an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!. I am really looking forward to this venture and hope it is very exciting. So, for now, if you would like anything from the catalogue etc, leave me a message or email me and I will help you out, no matter where you are in Australia!

Sneak Peek

Heres a little sneak peek at what I've been up to. I've been making my own embellishments. I am joining a group of ladies for a craft sale, so I have been making lots and lots of these little flowers to sell at the stall along with some older scrapbooking supplies and stamps.

So if you are in the Lalor Park / Seven Hills area, these are the details for the craft sale.

Where: Church Hall
Cnr Heffron Road and Gallop Grove
LALOR PARK

When: Saturday 23rd October
Time: 9am -1pm only

The ladies have cleaned out their cupboards and all items need new homes. Stamp sets, handmade gifts, scrapbooking items, lots of Stampin' Up products and more.

So if you are close to the area, come along for a visit, you may just find something nice.

Hula Hooper (with my range of crochet flowers)

Here is the first page using my own crochet flowers, and I'm so pleased with the result. They are a thicker version of some of the others I have made, but I love the effect they create. I will post some very soon, and if you are interested, you can purchase from here.
This page was created yet again for the Scrapbooking From scratch monthly challenge. I really love these challenges as i find they bring out a different side to my scrapping.
items used: American Crafts cardstock, pp - Stampin' Up, craftworks letters, doily, paint, 7 Gypsys tag, gemstones, ribbon, everlasting keepsakes shapes and tag, and my very own crochet flowers.

Weekend Away

Last weekend we went away for my friend, Melissa's birthday. We went to a place called Villa Lago at Coomba Bay NSW. What a relaxing and beautiful place this is (a bit of photo overload to come...) Perfect for a weekend away or girls weekend as these photos show.

Below are pics of the room Jason and I had (They let us have the main suite which was fantastic!!) Huge king size bed with amazing views, and our ensuite with massive spa bath and double shower (the ensuite was bigger than our home bedroom!!)

And while away I took my scrapping stuff in case I had some time to scrap - of which I managed. I was up at the crack of dawn (due to the sun shining right through the windows) so I ended up completing the following 2 pages. Was pleased that I got 2 done.

Your smile brightens my day

I have had the last 2 days off work so I could attend different activities my daughter has had on for school. Yesterday for Zone athletics and today for a band concert tonight, with rehearsals this morning. So I took advantage of some spare time at lunch today to do this page. This pic was taken on Mothers Day 2009 at Windsor. The kids love to go there and play in the Autumn leaves. I was very excited that this page took me just under 1 hour to complete!! Gotta love that.

Items used: pp - kaisercraft, paper loft, hat pin, doily, book paper, lace, staples, 3 bugs in a rug sticker, kaiser rhinestone flower, scrap fx chipboard, rhinestones, kaisercraft rubons, swiss dots cardstock.
