more random scrapping

Just a quick blog post to share 2 more pages that I have created. Quite simple pages but I really love them. I love the colours in THE JETTY page and the twine flower makes the page POP. I found this flower in a shop at The Entrance on my girls weekend. A few of us bought them as they were so beautiful.

Thanks for looking,

random scrapping

Here are a few more of my scrapping pages. 1st one is a page of my daughter ice skating for the first time. I am finding more and more that I hate using these large BLING pieces as they are so hard and flimsy to use. They get stuck to each other and stuck to anything they touch. Is there an easier way??

items used: american crafts cardstock, pp - bo bunny, kaisercraft rhinestones, felt ribbon, fiskars punch, kindy glitz, chipboard

This one is of my 'DIVA' niece when she was slightly younger. Was happily drawing on my driveway with chalk but chucked a tanty when I took it off her for putting it in her mouth! Couldnt help but take photos of her.
items used: pp - ek success and stampin up!, paper doily, handmade flowers by me, denim pocket, vintage playing card, stampin up hemp twine, kaisercraft rubons, staples, craft affair acrylic button, hat pin, bella journal spot.

De-cluttering challenge

I came across this challenge on Lisa Warrens blog, but it is from The Organised Housewife. What a fantastic idea, and I really do need to de-clutter my life. Get rid of 52 items in 52 weeks. It sounds alot, but with a kitchen reno on its way I'm sure I could get rid of quite a bit there alone!! And you do have 52 weeks to do it in.
Any-one else going to do this???

Scrap Stash Swap - SSS

I decided to challenge myself and thought about using my friends 'scraps'. So I went next door and asked Nikki if she had any scraps I might be able to use. Thankfully she said yes. So i found quite a few sheets that I thought would go well together, (and grabbed enough for 2 pages or more). I will go through my stash and give her some as a swap, and see if she can do the same.
This page is a photo of the kids on boxing day a few years ago. I picked scraps in some of my favourite colours and luckily was able to use them on this photo I've had waiting to be scrapped.
Items used: bazzill, misc scrap papers, felt bird, inque boutique felt hearts, misc button, fiskars punch, me and my big ideas rubons, kaisercraft bling, brad, handmade flower by me, stampin up top note journal spot, stampin up shimmer paint for the border (love this stuff)

And this one of the kids at Nurragingy Reserve. Loved the Autum colours so found some of Nikki's scraps with those tones.
items used: pp - kaisercraft, kaisercraft flowers, pearls, bazzill, lil davis rub on, scrapware wooden heart, misc chipboard, date stamp
