BW2 - December challenge

I re-visited my old design team blog challenge this week.

I really needed to scrap so I gave this months challenge a go.

This was the mood board and colours

and heres my entry

 I used some MME chipboard quote and frame

 along with washi, flowers, Funky Flair

texture paste, gelatos, nail polish and paper banners

It just screams SUMMER!! And I love Summer

and I especially love scrapping Summer type photos.

Scrap the Boys - November

November over at Scrap the Boys 

there is a great challenge - Show the softer side of boys

So while I was away at a scrap retreat this past weekend

I created this page for this challenge

 The page is about how he came to get his little nickname

 The background has been created using texture paste,

gelatos, stamps, washi and inks

 And a cute little flair from our challenge kit at retreat 

along with a handmade flower one of the retreat ladies made.

I have kept to a similar sketch shape.

Used some drawn lines in place of the

diagonal paper. Also kept my

title to the bottom right.

Here is my take on the challenge over at

Show us your stuff (SUYS)

This is the inspiration image to get you creating

I created my page using the blues and pinks

from the image

and I went with a Summery photo with a flower.

I also used some watercolouring with gelatos as it reminded

me of the top left image in the inspiration image.

My handmade item is the FLAIR by APOCD

Scrap the Girls - June

Here is my take on the challenge at Scrap The Girls for June.

The inspiration for this months challenge was their new blog header

So I chose to scrap my page with the pinks and greens

along with some Spring-like elements, like the butterflies on my page and little flowers.

I buy stuff there regularly, and this months

colours really caught my eye.

I stuck to the sketch and went with the happy colours.

This months challenge at SUYS was a sketch challenge

Here is my take on the challenge

with my handmade check flag

I used the sticker at the top right to make the heading

'good times' and the other wording in it

to be a sub title...let the "good times' roll

Scrap the Girls - May Challenge

This months Scrap the girls caught my eye.

You had to complete your page just by interpreting this quote:

" Something old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue"

So here is my take on this quote.

I went with NEW - my new Heidi Swapp embellishments &

BLUE - blue gelatos, feather and doily
