BW2 - November

Hi all

BW2 have a great little colour combo to get you creating just before Xmas.

Black+Browns+reds

Here is the inspiration for you

and here is my take on the colours:

I have used some raw chipboard to create a mocha feel, and

Some texture paste stars coloured with some inks.

  and of course, I went with some project life style features, using the little

journal cards in a block of 4 with the photo.

I love the way this has turned out.

I hope this has inspired you to use some project life

items on your everyday layouts!

Monopoly challenge - week 1

SB top 50 - week 1 of the Monopoly Challenge

This week I rolled the number 2 which meant I landed

on the community chest which was a 'bonus'. I got to decide which of the 3 challenges

I wanted to use but just needed to add some BLING.

The challenges were 'trends' 

I went with Chevron Road - chevron, stars and handmade item

 I used some chevron paper, Ah Scrap handmade button + a d'lish scraps flair, 

and stamped some blue stars. I also used a small 

bling embellie under the photo.

I love these kind of challenges and can't wait to see what the

rest of the game will hold.

SB top 50 -Monopoly GO Challenge

Have you seen the great challenge on over at Scrapbooking Top 50??

I love their challenges, as they really get me back into my scrapping.

This time they are having a Monopoly challenge.

Here is the first challenge - for GO.

You had to have the word GO in the beginning of your title and use game pieces 

somewhere on the layout.

Scrapbooking top 50 - Sept challenge

I had some time (very rare these days) to do some scrapping last night.

So I gave the SB top 50 sketch challenge a go. 

I really like this sketch and it came together quite quickly.

I had already made the background with the dylusions and masks

some time ago, and thought this photo matched

the colours well. 

 and a closeup of the 2 masks used with the dylusions mists

 I also used an older Ah Scrap bottlecap to match the Batman theme

BW2 - September - Bright and colourful

Here in Australia, today is the 1st of Spring!!

And the weather is certainly beautiful here in Sydney.

So this month at Black with 2 we have an awesome

colour combo for you to play with.

Black + rainbow colours

Yes, more than 2 this month for a bit of a mix up!!

Here is my take on the challenge:

I used a few of the colours in 'splashes' around the photo

with some paints.

Kraft it Up Challenge-August

The August challenge over at Kraft It Up was for you to use the regulatory Kraft

cardstock, plus your Own style of scrapping!

Pretty simple!

Here is my page:

I find it hard to describe my style,

but would think its 'neat and structured'

. I usually have a bit of paint, ink or texture paste

and lately washi tape and arrows.
