W.W.1 - July challenge

Here is my entry for this months White With 1 challenge.
Mine is titled: Last night being 5 (but the word 'being' is a bit faint in the photo)

This month required you to use: white + aqua/teal + chipboard.

I have used some chipboard stars and have painted over some star lace paper for the background.

This photo (as the title states) was taken the night before Aiden turned 6. Such a cute little photo snuggled up with his little bulldog.

Storyboard Kits challenge

Storyboard Kits have a fantastic challenge on at the moment and they have some great prizes up for grabs.
This is the sketch to get your inspiration from:

And this is my entry of my daughters playdough flower creations.

I have mainly used Cosmo Cricket in this one. I also used a yellow embossed cardstock which I highlighted with some Stampin Up ink.

The challenge requires you to use 1 of a list of techniques. I have used 2 in mine:
* lightly painted background
* handmade spiral flowers.

great friends

I havent been scrapping on Friday nights for about 3 weeks now and I am really missing it. We missed last week due to school holidays and we all took the kids to the zoo (very long day). So today I am sharing a page a finished about a month ago of some great friends of mine. These are the people I scrap with (well 3 of them are pictured here)and have become very close friends with.

I Met these ladies through my daughters school (our kids all started school together and are still friends today). This photo was taken on our first girls weekend away last year to The Entrance (we have just booked this years one too). This is the Penthouse we are renting!!

I can rely on these ladies and they are always there if I need them. Plus, they are always a good laugh!!
(I love that this page came together in under an hour too!!)
So till next week (our Friday night scrapping)...

want this giveaway?? yes I do

Head on over to Purple Pumpkin as they have a great giveaway and I am entering to win!!

another double page

firstly, apologies for the poor quality of the photo - was hard to capture these colours correctly. These photo booth pictures were taken at last years work xmas party. They supplied the photo booth for everyone to use on the night and boy oh boy, did we use it!! It was so much fun (especially trying to squeeze 4 people into it - unsuccessfully!) But none-the-less I have completed yet another double layout - yay for me!!

white with 1 challenge - June

This is my first entry for the White with 1 monthly challenge. Junes challenge is white+red+circles or spots.
I had to give this one a go because Tahlia's favourite colour is red and have been waiting to scrap a page of her based on these colours, so what better time than for this challenge.

I have even completed a challenge page which I will share very soon. 6 of us went along last night, lots of laughs were had. Wont be able to go again for a month now, but have a few plans before then!!
